Due to road conditions, Silex R-1 School District and PLTC will not be in session on Tuesday, January 7th. Campus will also be closed, so there will not be any practices or extracurricular activities. No games tonight or tomorrow at Clopton Tournament. We will post about Wednesday's games when info. is available. Be safe and enjoy your snow day!
Activities for Monday, January 6, 2025: No school; Teacher In-Service; Varsity girls basketball at Clopton Tournament vs. Winfield, 7:30 p.m.
The Silex R-1 School District campus and PLTC will be closed tomorrow, January 6th. Teacher In-Service is also canceled tomorrow.
PLTC will not be in session tomorrow, Monday, January 6th, due to inclement weather.
The Varsity girls basketball game scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, January 6th, at the Clopton Tournament has been postponed until Tuesday, January 7th at 6 p.m.
Activities for Friday, January 3, 2025: JV/V boys basketball at Silex vs. Veritas Christian HS, 5 p.m.; JV/V girls basketball at Veritas Christian HS, 5 p.m.
Activities for Thursday, January 2, 2025: School resumes from Winter Break.
Silex school resumes from winter break tomorrow, Thursday, January 2, 2025. Pike-Lincoln Tech will NOT be in session until January 6th. Tech students need to arrive for their fourth hour class tomorrow. If tech students do not have a ride to school, they can ride the bus in the morning and sit in the office or the library until fourth hour. We can't wait to see everyone back on campus!
Silex R-1 starts Christmas Break, December 21 through January 1, 2025. Silex R-1 will resume classes on January 2, 2025. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Activities for December 20, 2024: Christmas Chaos, over accessorize with holiday gear/attire; Elementary ABC Assembly and Homework Club; Elementary Christmas parties; Christmas Concert for 6-12 Band, 6 p.m.; JV/V boys basketball at Silex vs. Van-Far, 6 p.m.; End of 2nd Quarter. Christmas Break is December 23-January 1st. School will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025. Happy Holidays!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 18th is the last day to register for Elementary Basketball. All forms must be turned into your child's teacher or the elementary office.
