Lexee James, sophomore, does the morning announcements for the high school every day. Lexee does a fantastic job of keeping the students & teachers informed of the daily & weekly activities. You can hear the enthusiasm in her voice as she speaks. Great job Lexee!

A girls JV basketball game has been added to the schedule. They will play at home on February 10, 2021 at 7:15 p.m. against Troy. The gym will be cleared out between the Varsity & JV games. Please wear a mask & social distance. Thank you for your patience & cooperation.

We will be clearing the gym tonight between the girls & boys JV games. If you leave the girls game, you must have a ticket to re-enter for the boys game. The girls game will start at 5:30 p.m. & fans can enter at 5:15 p.m. The JV boys game will not start until 7:00 p.m. Fans may enter at 6:45 p.m. Silex fans will exit out the west high school hallway & Bowling Green fans will exit out through the main doors off the Gym. Thank you for your patience & cooperation.

4th Grade Students, Makennah & Cooper will be greeting & assisting students in the mornings before school for the next couple of weeks. Makennah & Cooper were chosen by their classmates as "Character Leaders". Mrs. Gina Harris, Silex Elementary Principal, started the "Morning Greeters" program a few weeks ago. Students who were chosen as "Character Leaders" in their classrooms will rotate every few weeks to assist with morning greetings.
