A Varsity boys basketball game has been added to the schedule. They will play on Wednesday, January 22 at Columbia - Independent. Game time is 6 p.m.

Silex R-1 will be running regular bus routes tonight, Wednesday, January 15th, except for a few locations. Parents have been contacted where buses are unable to drive the roads safely. We will NOT be driving on Pike 340 or Woods Road until further notice, due to the amount of ICE. Stay warm!

High School Basketball Schedule Changes: The JV games scheduled for Monday, January 20th have been cancelled; the JV/V boys games scheduled for Tuesday, January 21st at Silex vs. North County Christian will now be played on Thursday, January 23rd at Silex with a 6 p.m. start; Homecoming is Friday, January 24th and will now start at 5:00 p.m. with 2 quarters of JV boys, followed by Varsity girls and boys.

Silex R-1 will be running snow routes on Tuesday, January 14th and Wednesday January 15th. Snow route information can be found on the school website and Facebook page. PLTC will be in session.
Lady Owls Basketball: On Wednesday, January 15th vs. Clopton, we will play Varsity girls first then 2 quarters of girls JV due to Clopton's low numbers. It is also Black Out Night against cancer! Game time is 6 p.m. at home. Go Lady Owls! 💚🏀
