Baseball game for today is cancelled.
Seniors: Remember to be working on your scholarship applications. The local scholarship applications have been emailed to your school email. Several of them are due Friday, April 7th. If you have questions see Miss Kuntz
Spring Sports, band, choir, and FCCLA pictures will be taken today.
Students 6 -12 - This Friday wear red or Cardinal gear to celebrate opening day. We will be drawing for prizes at the end of the day.
Join Silex FCA at the St. Louis Cardinal’s FCA Night at the Ballpark on Friday, April 7th! Tickets need to be purchased by tomorrow, Friday, March 31, so see Ms. Avery or an FCA officer for more information.
There will be a NHS meeting for all members on Tuesday at 7:40 in Mrs. Kerns’ room.
Tuesday's baseball game with Montgomery Count has been moved to April 28th at Silex at 5:00 pm.
Today's game with Community will be played as one of the tournament games at Community on April 22.
The JV game with Bowling Green on Friday, March 31 has been moved to Bowling Green because of field conditions. It will be a 5:00 pm start.
There is a golf match at Woods Fort on April 21st with a 4:00 pm start.
JV track has a meet at Orchard Farm on April 18 at 4:00 pm.
Today's game with Community will be played as one of the tournament games at Community on April 22.

Spring Pictures Tomorrow for Golf, Girls' Soccer, Baseball, Track, Varsity Girls' Basketball (Group Re-take), Choir, FCCLA and Band.
Junior High Band at Bowling Green for the Middle School Music Fest. School's represented are Elsberry, Clopton, Louisiana, Bowling Green and Silex. These bands will perform a concert at 5:00 tonight in the Bowling Green Middle School Gym.
Golf struggles down the stretch and loses to Elsberry 197 to 209. Bobby Smith led the Owls with a 46 and Jack Norton with a 50.
Ice Cream Truck comes tomorrow. Prices range from $1 - $4. #celebratespring

The ice cream truck will be here tomorrow. Treats range in price from $1.00 to $4.00 .
The baseball game for today has been moved. We will be playing at Montgomery at 5pm today. . Coach Hufty will post a travel list on the library door. If you are a JV player and your name is not on the travel list, you can still ride the bus to the game. The bus will be at the ballfield and will leave at 3pm.
