Baseball Time! There are order forms for Baseball Spirit Wear in the High School office. Orders and payment are due Wednesday, March 15.
Any freshman or sophomore who is attending prom needs to pick up a pack of permission forms from Ms. Trecia in the high school office. All prom paperwork needs to be filled out and returned to the office by March 31st.
NHS officer applications are due today to Mrs. Kerns.
It is a very exciting day at Silex R-1. The State Commissioner of Education, Dr. Margie Vandeven and State Supervisor, Jay Reese paid a visit. Dr. Vandeven read "Pete the Cat and the Magic Sunglasses" to the kindergarten to celebrate Missouri's Read-In Day. #greatdaytobeanowl

All FBLA members are invited to join the Butter Braid Fundraising effort. Order forms are in, and we are hoping to earn funds to help those qualifying and traveling to Springfield for the State Leadership Conference. Additional money raised will be put in the treasury for next year’s activities, and those participating may list this on their FBLA Officer application. See Mrs. Wells for more information.
