Due to the impending forecast, Silex School District will NOT be in session tomorrow, Friday, February 16th. Be safe and enjoy your snow day.

Another schedule change for Thursday, February 15th: There will NOT be a JV girls game against Elsberry. JV boys will start at 5:00 p.m. and play 2 Quarters, followed by Varsity girls and Varsity boys at Silex.
Tonight's JV girls game at Louisiana is cancelled. The Varsity girls will play at 5 p.m. followed by the Varsity boys.
Activities for Thursday, February 15, 2024: FBLA Week, Work from Home, wear pajamas or comfy clothes; JV boys and Varsity girls and boys basketball at Silex vs. Elsberry, 5 p.m.; FFA applications due; Kids Care Club Canned Food Drive; Music Department Little Caesars fundraiser.
SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2024: The JV girls/boys AND Varsity girls/boys will all play Elsberry on Thursday, February 15th at Silex. There will be NO games on Friday, February 16th. We will be starting with 2 quarters of JV girls at 5 p.m., followed by 2 quarters of JV boys, then varsity girls, then varsity boys.
Game times for Wednesday, February 14th at Louisiana: Varsity girls, 5 p.m.; 2 Quarters of JV girls, 6:15 p.m.; Varsity boys, 7 p.m.
Activities for Wednesday, February 14, 2024: FBLA Week, Show Your Love for FBLA, wear pink or red; NHS Valentine Grams delivered; Elementary Valentine's Day parties; Board of Education meeting, 4:00 p.m.; Varsity/JV girls and Varsity boys basketball at Louisiana, 5 p.m.; Elementary Kids Care Club Canned Food Drive.
The Silex Board of Education has changed their meeting time to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
