On February 15th, JV girls will play 2 quarters at 5:30 p.m. prior to the Varsity girls & boys game @Silex vs. Wellsville-Middletown.
Only 3 quarters of the JV boys game will be played tonight due to both programs having low numbers. Also, the JV girls game will not start until the conclusion of the Varsity girls game due to both programs having swing players.

Due to the projected forecast for Friday, January 14th, V & JV boys & girls games at Clopton will be played on Thursday, January 13th with the following schedule: Varsity girls at 5:30 p.m. in the New Gym; JV boys at 5:30 p.m. in the Old Gym; JV girls at 7 p.m. in the Old Gym; Varsity boys at 7 p.m. in the New Gym.
Silex Youth Basketball forms are due on Friday, January 14th. No late registrations will be accepted.
Activities for Thursday, January 13, 2022: Elementary tutoring, 3-4 p.m.; JV/V girls & boys @Clopton, 5:30 & 7:00 p.m. The ACT & Silex Youth Basketball registration is due on Friday, January 14th. The National FFA Scholarship is due on Saturday, January 15th.

Junior & Senior Parents: The district ACT test will be on March 10th. This test will be given at Silex during regular school hours and is free of charge for Juniors. If Seniors would like to take the test, they can make a check payable to Silex R-I School District for $48 to be given to Amy Gronek. Parent/guardians should email Mrs. Heitgerd at hheitgerd@silex.k12.mo.us to reserve a spot for their student by January 14th.
