The Varsity girls softball team will travel to Union, Mo. on Friday, August 27, 2021 to play Cuba at 6:00 p.m. The game will be played at Veterans Memorial Park, 600 Progress Parkway, Union, MO. 63084. The fields are located in the back of the park.
Activities for Wednesday, August 25, 2021: FFA Trap practice, 6 p.m. at Lolar Branch.
The High School Softball Jamboree has been rescheduled for Tuesday, August 24, 2021. It will now start at 6:30 p.m. due to the forecasted heat. The game schedule will remain the same. Admission is $3 for adults & $2 for students & concessions will be open. Some bleacher seating will be available, but you may want to bring a chair. Good luck to our Lady Owls!

Silex Assembly of God Church will be hosting a "Back to School Bash" this Saturday, August 14th from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Come on out and take a throw at the Dunking Booth. Ms. Warrington & Ms. Brittany will be in the booth from 12-1 p.m., and all the proceeds will be donated to Silex School. The event will be held in New Town by the water tower. They will have free backpacks loaded with school supplies! There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, music, and more! Come on out and enjoy a wonderful fun-filled day!
