Friday, March 17th, the ice cream truck will be here. Price range is $1.00 to $4.00.
Any 6th or 7th grade girl interested in playing softball or basketball next year, there will be an informational meeting, Thursday March 16th in Mr. Henke’s room during advisement .

Baseball Time! There are order forms for Baseball Spirit Wear in the High School office. Orders and payment are due Wednesday, March 15.
Any freshman or sophomore who is attending prom needs to pick up a pack of permission forms from Ms. Trecia in the high school office. All prom paperwork needs to be filled out and returned to the office by March 31st.
With the start of the new quarter, tardies have been reset to zero. Once you receive 5 tardies, you will be assigned a detention, either Wednesday after school or Thursday before school. If you do not show up to the full hour of detention, then ISS will be assigned.
PTO tomorrow in the library at 6:00.

It is a very exciting day at Silex R-1. The State Commissioner of Education, Dr. Margie Vandeven and State Supervisor, Jay Reese paid a visit. Dr. Vandeven read "Pete the Cat and the Magic Sunglasses" to the kindergarten to celebrate Missouri's Read-In Day. #greatdaytobeanowl
